Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Save Africa Foundation.

Volunteers are the life-line of SAF, and you make our programs and services possible. At SAF our volunteers partner with us to provide quality, compassionate healthcare in an innovative way to meet our patients’ needs. Our volunteers are committed to providing excellent person-centred care without boundaries.

We are committed to granting our patients the opportunity to live with dignity and attain independence, ultimately helping in the alleviation of poverty. Each year we rely on many volunteers to assist with our outreach programs. Our volunteers support us with assessment, treatment, education and patient counselling. We treasure and are grateful for all volunteer services provided to assist in our service delivery.

    • Groups

    We welcome corporate teams, schools, and religious organizations to become our global partners in improving the standard of living for those in need.

    Goals

    • To provide groups with an opportunity to partner with SAF in demonstrating social responsibility. This action will help to alleviate poverty via supporting individuals to achieve optimal health to enable them to return to work.
    • To provide awareness on the issues of health and poverty in a week long program.

    Group Size

    • We can accommodate a group of 4 to 10
    • Larger groups must contact our office for further details

    Activities
    Group members will assist in providing medical/surgical assistance, pre and post-op assessment, treatment, counselling, educating, serving, providing emotional, social and physical support and basic nursing care.
